With great sorrow the family of Loretta Ann Alber (Foster) announce her passing on January 6, 2021 at the Golden Peaks Nursing Home in Ft. Collins, CO. Loretta was born in Platteville, CO on September 3, 1936 to Albert Foster and Winni Southernland.

She began her career at Safeway in Ft. Collins where she met the love of her life and beloved husband Thomas Edwin Alber. Her career then moved her to work at the Charco Broiler as breakfast manager. She was a very hard worker and worked until the age of 77 with the last 10 years at Hays Market in Berthoud, CO. There are many lives she influenced throughout her career with her loving heart, devoted dedication, and cooking abilities.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was the key that held her family together.
Loretta is survived by her children: Tom Alber, Jr, Aletha Pattison, Don Alber and spouses; grandchildren: Tilan DeMent, Joseph Alber, Jakob Smith, and Zakary Smith and spouses; great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Ashlynn, Kensley and Brycen; sister: Hazel Pahl; Brother-in-law: Michael Alber. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Alber, Parents: Winni Southerland and Albert Foster; sister: Alice Crawford.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with and influenced throughout her life.
