Loren Glen Gitchel, 66, of Bellvue, Colorado passed away at his residence on August 13, 2021. Loren was born May 14, 1955 in Alma, Nebraska to Charles Phillip Gitchel and Jolley Ann Williams Gitchel.
Loren served in the Army and Air Force. He had a knack for storytelling and could make anything funny. Loren loved to shoot pool and also enjoyed reading, cooking, riding motorcycles laughing and heading to the gun range for "gun powder therapy". His other hobbies included scuba diving, woodworking, rollerskating, and sailing. Loren was a kid at heart and always had a thirst for more knowledge.
Preceding him in death were his mother, father and sister Peggy Diane Finch.
Survivors include his wife Constance, "Connie" Carlson and his sister Ella Annette Olson and her husband Jeff Olson. he is also survived by his neices and nephews, whom he greatly enjoyed, Clayton Dion Finch (Honor and Liberty), Clinton DuWayne Finch (Colton and Cydina), and Cydina Joy Dick (Cierra, Nevaeh, and Serenity). A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 1 to 5pm at Poudre Park Community Center, 10234 Poudre Canyon Highway (Highway 14), Bellvue, CO 80512. Leave your tears behind and bring your stories and fond memories of Loren to share.
