Joy E. Van Horn

Joy E. Van Horn, 53, of Brush, formally of Fort Collins went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2013 as a result of an auto accident. Joy was born February 28, 1959 to John F. Glass, Sr. and Joyce D. Glass Knox. Joy was born and raised in Fort Collins; Joy moved to Brush in 2002 to pursue her dream of owning a ranch. Joy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her beloved horse, Stardancer. Joy was preceded in death by her father, John F. Glass, Sr. and paternal and maternal grandparents. Joy is survived by her children, Corine Judd Ken, Chad Van Horn Trisha and Cristin Gore David; grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb, Jadon, Ashley, Jeffery and Jace; brothers, John, Jr. Susan, Mike, Jim, Dan, Fred Suzanne and Joe; and many nieces and nephews. Joy was a friend to everyone she met. She was a very outgoing person who always had a smile. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Calvary Assembly of God, 1012 Eaton St., Brush, CO. Memorial contributions can be made in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
