Jason Benjamin Garcia known lovingly to family and friends as Jay was born January 5,1979 and passed away March 10th, 2026 after a short battle with cancer. Jason was a lifelong resident of Colorado living in both Ft. Collins and Wellington. Jason was a graduate of Poudre High School. Jason was currently working as a Postal Carrier for the Ft. Collins Post Office. For approximately 11 years, Jason approached his work with an unwavering commitment to the job and a warm smile. Beyond his professional life, Jason was an avid passionate outdoorsman, finding joy in both 4 wheeling and fishing where he cherished the tranquility of nature and the thrill of adventure. Jason was a man who let his actions speak louder than his words. Jason was quiet by nature but he also had a way of catching people off guard with a perfectly timed sense of humor that would light up the room when it was least expected. Jason's vibrant spirit is deeply matched by his love for family. He is survired by his devoted parents: Benjamin Garcia Jr. Renee and Randy Brandes, his brothers; Jesse, James (wife Allie) and a sister Janee (husband Nate); Jason also leaves treasured memories with Aunts. Irene Mora & sons, Rosy Munoz & daughters, Laurie & Craig Bath, Mandy Jones and his Uncle Mike. Jason was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his Aunt Pam Each of these relationships enriched his life, reminding us of the importance of family bonds. Today we will remember Jason and celebrate the joy, shared laughter, his adventerous spirit, and caring nature. Jason's love for us will forerer be etched in our hearts and will continue to inspire his family and friends to live life fully and cherish erery moment.

In honor of Jason, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 20th at 2:00 PM at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on 121 Olive St, Ft Collins, with a reception to follow at Bohlenders.
