James K. Coldiron

James K. (Jim) Coldiron, 88, passed away April 9, 2015 at his home in Laporte, Colorado. Jim was born in Menifee, Kentucky, on February 16, 1927 to Leonard and Kathia Coldiron. He married Dorothy Calkins, August 21, 1948 in Kalkaska, Michigan. Together they had four children, Linda Susan, Gary James, Debra Ilene and Daniel Leonard Coldiron. They lived in Muskegon, Michigan until 1967 when they moved to Laporte, Colorado. Jim was a machinist by trade and retired from Heath Engineering in 1988. He also had a small machine shop that he ran from his home for the past forty years.

Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Calkins; his third wife, Francis Fisher; daughter, Susan Fowler; son, Gary Coldiron; and grandson, Mickie Coldiron.
Jim is survived by his son, Daniel Coldiron (Delynn); daughters, Debbie Knapp (Clyde), Darlene Bond (Joe); sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Resurrection Fellowship; located at 6502 E. Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland, Colorado 80538. Service will begin at 10:00 am, with a reception following.
