Georgia Mae Wegner, 80 (or as she preferred, "older than dirt"), peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 29,2025 in Fort Collins, CO. She was surrounded by her loving family as she returned to her Father's house.

A Fort Collins, native, Georgia was born May 12, 1945at Poudre Valley Hospital and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1963.. She met her husband, Manfred Wegner, at FCHS, and they were married December 12, 1965.

Aside from a brief stay in Kodiak, Alaska from July 1968 to 1969, Georgia lived her entire life in Fort Collins. She was a dedicated employee of Hewlett Packard, Woodward Governor and General Electric.

She was a tenacious, loving soul who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quiltin, tending to her tomato garden and feeding the squirrel in her backyard. She is survived by her husband, Manfred (Manny), her two children Michel Meador (spouse, Mike Meador) and Christy Dunlap (spouse, Kevin Dunlap), her six grandchildren, Steven, Samantha, Hannah, James, Karl and Daniel, and her great grandchild Calvin.

Her passing is preceded by her parents, Edward A. and Kathryn E. Miller, her brother, Richard Miller, her grandchild, Bailey and great-grandchild , Addie.

Her family will be hosting a gathering at the Best Western Inn located at 5542 E US 34, Loveland on Saturday, September 27,2025 at 2 pm to celebrate her life.
