Frieda Alsleben, 93, of Fort Collins, passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2017.
Frieda was born September 28, 1923 in Fort Collins. On April 22, 1945 Frieda married Marvin Alsleben, a marriage that would celebrate 58 anniversaries.
Survivors include daughter, Joy (Paul) Chapman; and two grandchildren, Joshua (Katie) Chapman and Amy Chapman.
Frieda was preceded in death by husband, Marvin; and son, Dennis.
Frieda spent many enjoyable hours working in the garden (weather permitting), oil painting, knitting and crocheting. One of her favorite past times was knitting baby hats for Poudre Valley Hospital. Frieda was a long-time member and volunteer at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Frieda's life will be celebrated on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Collins. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
