Elvira Viro Bradley was born August 5, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas to Teodosio & Petra Rodriguez. Elvira was an active member of Templo Gethsemani Church for many years. She enjoyed attending the special services they had even if it was all the way down in Pueblo, CO. Even though Elvira was blind, she had an amazing talent for playing the accordion and singing. She enjoyed singing in church and playing her accordion. She also cooked, and sewed. Elvira had many qualities, especially when it came to money. She knew her bills, and you could never fool her. Elvira loved being around her family. Elvira is survived by her daughter, Amparo Rodriguez-Ruiz Federico of Loveland, CO; four grandchildren, Geneva Rodriguez Hector Cruz of Evans, CO, Rigoberto Ruiz of Loveland, CO, Alicia Ruiz-Gonzales Jovani of Holyoke, CO, Jose Ruiz Veronica of Loveland, CO; four great grandchildren: Damien Ruiz, Anthony Gonzales, Jose Angelo Ruiz, and Jennifer Rodriguez-Cruz; one sister: Florence Garcia of Fort Morgan, CO; one brother: Hector Rodriguez of Fort Collins, CO; two special nieces: Esperanza Hope Garcia of Brush, CO and Alma Rodriguez of Fort Collins, CO; a very special nephew: Jose Cholo Rodriguez. Elvira was preceded in death by her parents, Teodosio & Petra Rodriguez; four brothers: Martin, Guadalupe, Jose Pleasanton, TX and Antonio Rodriguez and one sister, Andrea Montoya. A funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
