Elena Maurine Walker Tidquist, 67, of Greeley, died November 19, 2008. Maurine was born December 5, 1940 in Denver, Colorado to Henry Wesley Walker and Margaret Alice Chater Walker. Maurine lived all her life in Colorado and graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland. She owned and operated the Golden Horn Restaurant at Greeley Producers for 18 years. She loved her dogs, Lacey and Abbey. Survivors include her daughter, Natalie Hagan of Greeley; two sisters, Gwen Bohlender of Ft. Collins and Iris Langston of Cortez, Colorado; two grandchildren, Jeff and Stephanie of Greeley; two great-grandchildren, Karlee and Jayden, and her special friend, Bill Ducker. Preceding Maurine in death are her parents, husband, Larry L. Walker, four brothers, Franklin "Brownie," Bernard, LaVerne, and Russell, and a daughter, DeAnn Walker. A Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Martin will officiate at the service.
