Eddie Lee Nixon was born June 16, 1929 in Rosenberg, Texas. He grew up in Shepherd and Bandera, Texas. He served in the US Army for two years. He married Elaine Wells May 22, 1965 in Bellvue, Colorado. Since 1977 Eddie and Elaine have lived one mile south of Wellington on Highway 1. Their number one priority was to live faithfully to God in Christ Jesus and to raise children to be faithful to God. Eddie was an HVAC mechanic. He retired in 1995 from National Cash Register on Timberline Road in Fort Collins.
Memorial donations may be made to Mountain States Children's Home c/o Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins CO 80524.
