On August 18, 2022, Debra Ann (Cameron) Zaderaka, age 73, went home to be with the Lord. She was born on June 16, 1949 in Frederick, Oklahoma, the youngest child and only daughter of Floyd and Juanita. Growing up, she loved to explore the outdoors alongside her brother Steve, which translated to a lifelong love of travel.
After graduating from Tufts University, Debby spent many years raising a family and building a community of friends in Wheaton, Illinois alongside her former husband, Dennis Zaderaka. She worked at Community Bank for several years and enjoyed volunteering and was active at College Church in Wheaton.
She loved being outdoors and biking with friends, raising Labrador retrievers, and had a deep appreciation for a good book on a porch with a view and a steaming hot cup of coffee. Debby had a keen eye for antiques and unique collectibles, and enjoyed scouting for them during her many travels. In 2019, Debby relocated to Fort Collins, CO to be closer to her brother and the mountains.
She is survived by two daughters, Nicole Emerson and Brittany Zaderaka, her son-in-law Travis Emerson, her beloved grandchildren Graham, Chloe, and Colette, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Steve, and her parents Floyd and Juanita.
A celebration of life will be at 11am on September 16th, 2022, at Faith Church in Fort Collins, CO.
