David A. Chance

David Arthur Chance passed away January 7, 2019 after nearly 30 years of battling MS. Born February 13, 1947 to James Rush Chance and Evelyn Whyte Chance.

David graduated from FCHS in 1965 and followed his father's profession at C&M Electric until he could no longer work. An avid hunter and fisher, David was very proud of his trophy room. David was a huge sports fan, loving college football and basketball. He also enjoyed country music and was a terrific country dancer when he put on his boots.

David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sheeser Chance; his son, James David; step daughters, Kimberly Taylor and Susan Gustafson; sister, Tracy (Ted) Garfield, and four grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday January 12th from 11:00 - 1:00 at the Fort Collins Elks Lodge #804 at 1424 E. Mulberry.
