Crystal Grandin, 44, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away on December 3, 2015.
She was a dear mother, sister, aunt, friend… She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
Crystal was born on November 16, 1971 in Springerville, Arizona and Fort Collins, Colorado has been her home away from home for the past 20+ years.
Crystal had a warm and sensitive heart. She was trusting and generous and always believed the best about people. She loved her coffee and enjoyed spicy foods and sushi. She loved going on vacation to tropical places. Being near the ocean was her favorite place to be.
She approached everything she cared about passionately and felt very deeply, in good times and bad.
During her life she worked as a waitress, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a Certified Massage Therapist. She was gifted with her hands and her caring nature made her very good at anything she put her mind to.
Crystal was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenny and Joey; her parents, Emmalene and George; and her dear son Tyler. We take comfort knowing that they are all together in heaven now. And there is no more pain or sadness for them there. We look forward with faith that we will see them again. Until that time, we will try to fill the hole in our hearts with our happy memories.
Crystal is survived by her daughter, Tory; sisters and brothers, Lisa, Carlene, Eric, Tara, Sara and Kyle; her stepmother Paula; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering for friends and family will be held at a later date to remember and celebrate Crystal's life.
