Clara Marie Warner, 96, died peacefully at the Hospice Unit at McKee Medical Center on March 8, 2008. Born Feb. 1, 1912, in Virginia Dale to parents Ed and Ida Kincaid. Her siblings were sisters, Ellan Little, Hattie Bartlett, Rosie Foster, Loretta Dauthett, Julia Norton, Opal Hodges; and brother, Jim Kincaid. Clara married Jack Warner on June 8, 1930, and they homesteaded on the big Laramie River until 1939, before moving to Sitka, Alaska. In 1941, Clara and Jack moved back to LaPorte, which they called home for the duration of their lives. They had three children together, Delores Hall, Judy Bryner-Matta and Jack Warner Jr., before her husband's passing in May 1989. This was just short of celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. She is survived by brother, Jim Kincaid of Lander, Wyo.; sisters, Julia Norton of Holly and Opal Hodges of Lander, Wyo.; daughter, Judy Bryner-Matta of Windsor; son, Jack Warner Jr. of Wellington; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
