Bruce McGill, 85, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life defined by service, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Born in California, Bruce demonstrated a strong sense of purpose early in life. He attended the University of Southern California on an ROTC scholarship, an opportunity that shaped both his education and his character. Following graduation, he proudly served four years as a Naval officer, honoring his commitment to his country.
After completing his military service, Bruce began a long and steadfast career with Kodak, where he worked for his entire professional life. He was known for his reliability, integrity, and strong work ethic, taking pride in his work and the stability it provided for his family.
Above all else, Bruce was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Susan McGill, with whom he shared a life grounded in partnership and love. He was a proud father to his sons Troy McGill and Sean McGill, with Sean preceding him in death.
He was a cherished grandfather to Aidynn and Reese, his granddaughters, and Keenan and Quinn, his grandsons who brought him immense joy and pride. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren and took quiet happiness in watching them grow.
Bruce will be remembered for his steady presence, thoughtful nature, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
An Open House Celebration of Life will be held on February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins, Colorado. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Bruce's life.
