Betty Jean Mcnabb

Betty Jean McNabb, 88, of Fort Collins, died December 25, 2012 at a local nursing home. Betty was born May 24, 1924 in Treece, Kansas to John Dozier and Mabel Carlton Dozier. On July 28, 1956 Betty married Billy Jack McNabb in Dallas, Texas. They moved to Fort Collins in 1985 from Grapevine, Texas. Betty was a virtuoso piano player and played professionally in many Fort Collins nursing homes. She also enjoyed painting, stained glass, and the arts. Survivors include her husband, Billy of Fort Collins; two sons, David McNabb of Denton, Texas and Robert McNabb of Westminster, Colorado; a daughter, Karen McNabb of Fort Collins, and two grandchildren, Wesley and Ryan McNabb. Preceding Betty in death are her parents, two brothers, and a sister. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
