Arlene Davenport, 90, of Fort Collins, died April 30, 2015. Arlene was born in Traer, KS on August 9, 1924 to August Edghill and Lottie Kimberling. Arlene married Bud W. Davenport in Grand Island, NE on July 16, 1953.
Mrs. Davenport was a production operator at Teledyne-Waterpik for 24 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting. She loved gardening especially flowers and her peace rose.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; daughter, Doreene Sands; son, William Lee Davenport; daughter, Judy Long; and brothers, Melvin, Merle, and Bob Edghill.
Survivors include daughters, Susan (Jeff) Armbruster of Fort Collins and Deb Velarde of Montrose, CO; Carol Clifford, Marilyn Andrews and Katherine Smalley; sons, Dr. Richard Davenport and James Davenport; 29 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
