Scott Alan Jones

Scott Alan Jones of Fort Collins lost his battle of cancer after fighting so hard for three years on May 9, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Jones was born in Fort Collins to John and Kathryn "Rockert" Jones. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; step-daughter, Lee Ann Herrera of Fort Collins; brother, Bill Dixon of Fort Garland, Colorado; sister, Kimberly Lawson of Loveland; and two grandchildren, Felipe and Isabella of Fort Collins who were the love of his life and the reason that he fought so hard; two very special nieces, Melissa Lawson and Angela Harmening of Minnesota. A service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Stroh, Dr. Sisson and Dr. Rodman for their phenomenal, continuous care. Also, very special thanks to the Oncology-Infusion Department as well as the ICU staff at Poudre Valley Hospital.
