Pre-Need

Bohlender Funeral Chapel offers the ability to pre-arrange funeral or cremation services prior to death. This opportunity allows an individual and/or their family to make arrangements reflecting their wishes before need occurs.

Any arrangements made in advance are held confidentially on file at the funeral home and are available at time of need to provide immediate family members with information regarding an individual's wishes. This information is also available in advance to individuals or families needing to apply for certain types of financial assistance.

Pre-arrangements are offered whether or not individuals or families choose to pay for these services in advance. If payment in all or part is provided in advance, Bohlender Funeral Chapel will freeze the cost of services chosen, at today's prices. Payment is held in trust at one of two local banks and is then withdrawn when services are provided. Payments to a pre-arrangement may be made in any amount, at any time and are not subject to specific payment plans.

If a pre-arrangement has not been paid in full at time of death, only the balance remaining is due.

Trusts with Bohlender Funeral Chapel are irrevocable and can also be structured to meet certain life insurance requirements.
